2002 Chevrolet Impala
The Impala name was resurrected for the 2000 model year as a mid-sized, 4-door sedan to replace the Lumina. Unlike the earlier Impalas, this one is front-drive and is available with only V6 power. A new Impala SS with a supercharged V6 was brought out for the 2004 model year. The new Impala became one of the fleet choices for the New York City Police Department along with the Ford Crown Victoria
