Description: This car is a sleeper. Soon prices will escalate when it is realised what a wonderful classic Lotus it is. Unfortunately none were exported by Lotus and therefor only in r.h.d. Approximately 5 cars in South Africa.

Description: This was the era when Toyota had shares in Lotus. The Excel used the Lotus 912 2.2 litre twin cam 16 valve motor, but all other running gear was from the Toyota Supra. All glass fibre body on a galvanized backbone chassis.
